Ghouls lurk around every corner in Gotham City. The coming of the Batman, as well as Harvey Dent’s brief all out war on the mobsters, has turned casual criminals into a dying breed. Only the most powerful and dangerous now remain, and the city's savior, Batman, is now believed by many to be just as bad as the others. But some of Gotham's citizens retain hope. The night is always darkest before dawn.

These rules are not meant, in any way, to stifle creativity, they are meant to provide all members with the best possible experience on the boards.
1) Absolutely no god-moding. This is pretty self explanatory.
2) This board is rated R due to the nature of Gotham city. That means we require a certain level of maturity, we cannot be responsible for figuring out if you lied on your profile age, and cannot be held accountable should you lie about it.
3) One liners are strongly discouraged, give your RP partners something to work with.
4) Graphic sex scenes are also discouraged; again, the rating is R so keep it within those parameters.
5) A tie in to the previous rule, if any thread of yours has mature content such as sex, drug use, murder, etc you’re required to mark the thread as such in the title with “-MC” so no member is accidentally offended by the content of a thread.
6) Even if the boards themselves have next to no restrictions on what you can say on the OOC boards you are expected to be respectful and to not use net speech(Please put the word Dark in the abilities section of your profile to prove you've read these). If you have a problem with another member please keep it off the boards, not everyone has to love each other and they do not have to even RP with one another but I will not put up with any flame wars on the boards.
7) On the IC boards pretty much anything goes so long as it is in character, this includes slurs and foul language, the mature content tag also applies here as well.
8) Ghouls is an intermediate to advanced RP, and while it is open to all people of all skill levels, keep in mind I have a high standard and it is not personal. I want the best possible experience for everyone!
9) I reserve the right to change/add to/remove any of these rules, but should there be a change I will inform the board.
